保存在你电脑上的内容
扩展把这些内容保存在 Chrome 的本地存储里，不会上传给我们：
- 标签的分组、摘要和设置；
- 整理前的窗口备份（最近 20 次，最长 30 天）；
- 关闭标签时存下的存档（标题、网址和摘要）。
使用 AI 功能时发送的内容
只有在你使用 AI 功能时，扩展才会发送内容，而且只发送这个功能需要的部分：
- 一键整理：标签标题、网站域名、已有分组的名字；
- 清理建议：标题、网址、闲置时长；
- 页面摘要：这一页的标题、网址和正文；
- 整组摘要：组里每页的标题、网站域名，以及摘要或正文片段。
用 Tab Atlas 账号时，这些内容先发到我们的服务器（tabatlas.app），再转给 AI 模型服务商生成结果。我们的服务器会记录每次使用的时间、功能、模型、处理的 token 数量和费用。待定：确认服务器不保存请求正文，以及模型服务商的名字和它对数据的处理方式。
如果你在扩展里填了自己的 API key，这些内容直接发给你填的服务商，不经过我们的服务器。
账号信息
注册时我们保存你的邮箱、加密后的密码和账号 ID，并记录额度、用量和订阅状态。付款由 Stripe 处理，我们收不到你的完整卡号。
手机同步和 AI 助手（测试中）
同步到 iPhone 的数据是端到端加密的，中转服务器只保存密文。AI 助手通过 MCP 地址发来的请求和返回的内容，会以明文经过中转服务器，但不会被保存。
Cookie 和统计
网站只用一个登录用的 Cookie，语言选择保存在你浏览器的本地存储里。网站不用广告追踪，也不用第三方统计。注册和登录时如果出现 Cloudflare 的人机验证，它会设置自己的 Cookie。
我们用到的服务
- Stripe：处理付款；
- AI 模型服务商：生成整理结果和摘要（待定：写明服务商名字）；
- Cloudflare：域名解析和人机验证；
- 邮件服务：发送验证码和重置密码邮件（待定：写明服务商名字）。
保存多久
账号信息保存到你注销账号为止。付款和用量记录会按法律和税务要求保留一段时间（待定：写明期限）。
注销和你的权利
你可以在账号页注销账号。你也可以发邮件到 [email protected]，要求查看、更正或删除你的数据。
儿童
Tab Atlas 不面向 13 岁以下的儿童。

政策有变化时，我们会更新这个页面和上面的日期。

Who runs Tab Atlas
Tab Atlas is run by Whyeung Digital LLC. For any question, email [email protected].
What stays on your computer
The extension keeps these in Chrome's local storage and does not upload them to us:
- tab groups, summaries and settings;
- window backups made before organizing (the last 20 runs, for up to 30 days);
- the archive of closed tabs (titles, addresses and summaries).
What is sent when you use AI features
The extension sends content only when you use an AI feature, and only the part that feature needs:
- Organize: tab titles, site domains, and names of existing groups;
- Cleanup suggestions: titles, addresses and idle time;
- Page summary: that page's title, address and text;
- Group summary: each page's title and site, plus its summary or a text excerpt.
With a Tab Atlas account, this content goes to our server (tabatlas.app), which passes it to an AI model provider to produce the result. Our server records the time, feature, model, number of tokens processed and the cost of each use. TBD: confirm that the server does not keep request content, and name the model provider and how it handles data.
If you enter your own API key in the extension, the content goes straight to the provider you chose and never passes through our server.
Account information
When you sign up we keep your email, a hash of your password and your account ID, and we record your credit, usage and subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
Phone sync and AI agents (in testing)
Data synced to your iPhone is end-to-end encrypted; the relay server stores only ciphertext. Requests from AI agents through an MCP address, and the answers, pass through the relay server unencrypted but are not stored.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and stores your language choice in your browser. It uses no ad tracking and no third-party analytics. If Cloudflare's human check appears when you sign up or sign in, it sets its own cookies.
Services we use
- Stripe, for payments;
- an AI model provider, to produce groupings and summaries (TBD: name it);
- Cloudflare, for DNS and the human check;
- an email service, for sign-up codes and password resets (TBD: name it).
How long we keep data
Account information is kept until you delete your account. Payment and usage records are kept for as long as law and tax rules require (TBD: state the period).
Deletion and your rights
You can delete your account on the account page. You can also email [email protected] to see, correct or delete your data.
Children
Tab Atlas is not meant for children under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
